    just to let you guys know, it just was the battery, went to sears today, had gift card, got a pretty good battery for 120 witha 3 year warrenty, put it in my car and she started right up.

    i have some 71 73 seat belts i think there for the rear ( didnt 71 73 have 3 point in the front?) but i dont know there in ok need to be dyed back tot he color there tanish, the retractors work pretty good just a little sticky, the buckles are almost perfect, email or pm if you want pics or more...

    really an optima? ive herd those were no good? but only from a couple people, i might as well try one, it would be better than the one i have, its from walmart ( i didnt buy it, can with the car )

    ya i disconnected the battery i was replacing my spark plugs and some other stuff that required the battery disconnected, i didnt do the wiring i had a shop do it.

    thats the answer i was looking for, i did that i had it running for at least 20 min while i was adjusting the timing and carb, went to start it about 4 or 5 hours latr and nothing.

    there was a crack going through the bolt hole the patch it up but then we couldnt find a bolt to fit it. cause of the crack going through it.

    it was all done for free :) thankfully , im going to put the 600 one on tomarow any guesses on how far im going to have to unscrew the 2 screws? and how do i tell if its running lean or rich?

    they tried that but the heat just made the bolt hole bigger so they sent it off back to edelbrock

    there was a crack in the bolt hole for the distributer so i got a stock one for free and it didnt want to go on correctly with my aluminum heads, so we put the stock ones back on
