    Electric Heater And Inverter Sizing

Well that sucks... Thank you though.. I didn't understand what kind of devices required additional power to start up and which ones required just a constant level of power. This is not about weight reduction. There are several reasons why I thought this would be a good idea. First, I wanted...

    Electric Heater And Inverter Sizing

I am going to install an electric heater in my 94 mustang. I have already deleted the heater tubes, hoses, and core. The car has a PA Performance alternator that makes more than 130 amps, and a red top Optima. The heater will only be used while the engine is running and the main purpose of the...

    Reverse Glow Gauge Inserts

Has anybody bought or seen the reverse glow gauge inserts from American Muscle? I have been designing and making my own custom gauge faces, and I have been looking at electroluminescent glow panels (el glow panels) to backlight the gauge faces that I am making. It looks like it will cost at...

    Exhaust Opinions

My Magnaflow catback has no drone, they sound great! I'm not sure how loud Macs are, so someone else will need to chime in, but I consider my exhaust to be fairly quiet compared to other brands, so I'm not sure if the Magnaflows would give you the "more noise" that you are looking for.

    Engine Mustang Problem

:word: The checklist is great! I had this same problem for a very long time. I just knew that I couldn't drive for very long or drive very far without the car dying and then having to sit there and wait for about a half hour until the car wanted to start again. In my research on the forums, I...

    Electrical Radio Wiring

I am trying to go a different route. I want to utilize the factory amp instead of buying a separate amp, so while your build is a great reference, it does not have all of the information that I need. Not to mention, it looks like a previous owner did some hack work on my radio. There are some...

    Electrical Radio Wiring

Nice build :nice: Which amplifier did you buy? I didn't see it in your thread anywhere, unless that Clarion equalizer is also an amp? Or maybe I missed something. For now, I wouldn't mind the sound volume being low (my wife always makes me turn the music down anyways). I just want to...

    Electrical Radio Wiring

Can some one link or point me towards a radio wiring diagram for a 94 mustang with radio and CD decks. I have been looking, but just can't find it. My Haynes manual just has some generic diagram and all others that I have found were for other years. What I really want to know (at least at this...

Over Heating And Coolant In Floor With Ac On

I really don't think that there is a control valve or anything that stops the flow when the air is off, so there should be coolant flowing through the heater core whenever the engine is on. What does this fluid leaking on the carpet look, feel, or smell like? When the engine is cool, open the...

    Maf Question

You can probably do a better job cleaning it while it is taken apart but this is not 100% necessary. I have always cleaned mine by just removing the MAF from the car, spraying electronics cleaner through the hole and using q-tips to very very gently clean the wires inside. This is how I was...

Over Heating And Coolant In Floor With Ac On

The heater core is leaking. Try to put some Alumaseal in the radiator to stop the leak. If that doesn't work, the heater core must be replaced. For now, just bypass the heater core by removing the rubber hoses between the firewall and the back of the motor. Use one of these hoses to connect the...

    Tune First?or Wait

o_O Thanks for the insult Noobz! I installed the gears on my car myself. I do all of the work on my vehicles myself. Once when I was a younger and and less experienced man, I had to take my car to a shop a couple of times because I was stumped and just could not find the problem. After these...

    Quick Easy Cai Question

Thank you very much. I did a fox (86-93) throttle body swap on my 94 5.0. I tried using a combination of 93 CAI parts and 94 CAI parts, but that didn't work out. I am now trying to figure out which CAI will fit the best with my new setup. I am thinking the v6 CAI will do the trick, but with this...
