    Figured the engine combo and ems in my car...suggestions?

    Ok so the 88 I bought has a non HO bottom long block. I checked by switching to HO firing and didnt run so well. It has the 88 oem headers, "HO" is cast under the "normal 5.0 HO" plate so I should have "HO" intake? Orange injectors (HO?), EMS is EEC-IV when I removed kick panel. It seems to run...

    Ok so I pulled off the plate on the intake that said "5.0 EFI" the plate doesn't say "HO" but "HO" is cast on the intake manifold under the plate...so I have a HO intake manifold? this engine is kinda confusing me cause it runs with the non HO firing order... but has the orange "HO" injectors...

    Where is the computer at so I can check what ecu it has? If its running the speed density ecu should I switch the firing order to "HO" 13726548?

    I do I tell if its HO from a lincoln? It seems most thing point to non HO since the it has the non HO firing order? Non HO aluminum valve covers? only thing I see saying its HO is the Orange injectors?

    Ok I just got a 88GT and noticed the intake didnt say "HO" instead it just says "5.0 EFI" which I didnt know if speed density cars said "HO" or not like my 95 does...So I did more looking and it has wierd firing order "15426378", it has orange top fuel injectors and I noticed on of the engine...

    Yeh super turbos will be quiet and deep sounding...Ive only had them on chevy cars...they sounded really good to me....I had full length headers and no cats and it was a chevy but quieter and deeper sounding then anything I had on the set up...Id assumer with a high flow cats and super turbos...

It sounds like its coming from the cats under the floor boards...like a "tick tick tick" noise...is that just the the heat shield and cat cooling down at different rates?     I wish I could help..all I have is a bone stock 5.0 with magnaflows welded with stock taile pipes and souns like stock till floored...but you already knew that....Ive had ultra flos on other cars and I liked them...but I like magnaflows since they dont get louder over time as some other mufflers do
