    Stripped out engine bay

True, that's how I did mine, but didn't mention it because from his post it sounded like only the engine bay would be done, that the rest of the car would stay as is.

    Stripped out engine bay

Well of course the best option is to completely strip the paint, prime it back and paint it again. I'd start by spraying it down with some simple green, let that soak for a while, then use a pressure washer and a brush to get all the dirt, grease, and grime out of there. Next, use "aircraft...

    C, A, and K code breakdown

Anyone have the numbers on how many of each was produced in 65-66? I've seen tons of mustangs over the years and basically all of them were C code, I've seen a couple of A codes, and only one K code. (I'm speaking of seeing them in person btw.) I've got an A code 66 fastback GT (it is in...

    Gardner-Westcott dress up bolts

Anyone used these in their engine compartment? They're chrome bolts with the Ford oval stamped into the head. Here's the Chevy bowtie version http://www.z069.us/00/Engine_bay/ss17.htm The kit includes bolts for the intake manifold, valve covers, filler neck, timing cover, fuel pump, oil...

what year does everyone have here? poll...

I'm an LS1 folk, but was a stangnet folk before that, just haven't been here in a while. :D And 66 takes the victory because we all know it's the best year ever (I'm not biased at all even after owning a 66 coupe and now a 66 fastback) :p
