Is your steering wheel still attached? I can speak for the solid shaft model: If yes, that has to come off (held on by one big nut), then unplug the wire harness from the underdash harness, then unbolt the 4 bolts at the retaining plate on the interior firewall. It should come up after that.

I have the old BBK H-pipe out of my 03GT and I wanted to know if anybody had any ideas what to do about disposing of it? It's catted and I know that the guts of the cats are worth something if someone melts them down. Any ideas where I should take it? I'm in RI.

Is it a problem with the BBK headers and cats? I just want to fix the problem and be done with it. If going with Bassani headers and catted x will fix the problem then I'll do it but I don't want to go through any more exhaust hassles like this.
