    With a safe tune I don't think I'll need the BTM at all. The timing curve will be set on the dyno. I'll look at prices for the MSD BTM/6al combination, but I'll probably just pick up a 6al.

    From everything I've read about the Vortech BTM is that it does nothing to amplify spark as do the MSD 6a 6al. It only pulls timing during high boost. I think I'm going to get the 6al and sell the vortech btm since I'm getting a tune. I don't think my stock ignition will handle the v1 s-trim.

    fast blinker and loss of power

    A fast blinker can also mean that the bulb is about to burn out. I've had this happen to my stang and my VW before. As soon as I put in a new bulb the blinker went back to normal. If it's blinking fast only on one side, try changing out that bulb.
