    Sear's BLOWS!!!!!!

Welcome to business....businesses are out to make money. If they have to fix something they didnt mess up, they make money. And Im sure the salesperson was excited to get that $0.025 to make that phone call he has been saving up for :D They make comission off of the job, not the price. For...

    Sear's BLOWS!!!!!!

Most tire shops charge more for special applications (17"+ wheels) because the sidewall is generally smaller making it harder to get the tire off and increasing the chance of messing up the wheels. Also most people dont like hammer on weights on the outside lip of the wheel, so they have to use...

    Tire installation using grease

Grease wont hurt anything, it just keeps the bead from sticking to the wheel and tearing the bead. Just clean it off and dont worry about it.

    OT: "Title" under people's logins?

I got my title one day when the board was changed to a newer version and for a few hours users were allowed to change their own user titles. I just happened to stumble on it and changed mine to "Bad Motherfucer" (but a K in place of the C) like Sameul Jacksons wallet in Pulp Fiction. Aparently...

    RIP seat bracket

A year or two ago my front left drivers seat bracket broke. Well today after lunch, the left rear mount broke. So now left turns are fun. You dont realize how much your seat would move around during turns until your seat mounts break :(

    Why the Fox Conversions?

Correct, they dyno pulls were on different days. I cant remember exactly how far apart they were, but Id guess a month or so. It was on the same dyno, I get a deal at this place :D Before the C&L, I had a BBK CAI

    Why the Fox Conversions?

Run #11 was an all motor run with a CAI, SN95 elbow adapter elbow and a BBK 70mm TB on a Holly Systemax intake after tuning A/F and timing. Run #12 and 13 were nitrous runs with the SN stuff. Run #14 was an all motor run with a C&L 75mm intake tube, Fox style BBK 70mm TB and the same...

What sound's a bad balancer make

Mine also made noise. The crank pulley was hitting the water pump pulley and made a chirping sound. Try taking the belt off and listen for the sound. Dont let it run too long (more than a minute or so) without the waterpump turning or it will get hot fast.

Quick: How important is it to have the flywheel resurfaced...

If you are using the same clutch, you dont need to resurface the flywheel unless there are visible scores in the metal. If you are putting a new clutch against an old flywheel, you will want to resurface it or it will chatter like a bitch :D

    Hiding wires??

If the box is right side up, then the water will go into the wires. If anything, upside down would let the water run into the fuse box cover. Its not like its a desert here, we are over 10" above the normal rain amount for the year. If you are that concerned about water getting in it, put a...

    Hiding wires??

There are 2 nuts on each of the inner fenders that hold the bumper to the fenders. Take those off. The hard part is taking the bumper cover loose from the headlight panel. The bumper cover wedges into the headlight panel and its a pain in the a$$ to get out. I think I broke a few of the tabs...
