    fuel pump removal

This model does not have a retaining ring. when you look thru the access hole you see the fuel pump/sending unit assembly. It's about 4" diameter and kind of the size of a coffee can only it's made out of plastic. I can wiggle it a little, but I can't pull it loose. I looked at the bottom of the...

    fuel pump removal

I have a ’99 Mustang and I’m trying to change the fuel pump. I’ve got the tank out of the car, took off the fuel pump access cover revealing the fuel pump and sending unit, but I can’t figure how to get it out of the tank. I don’t see anything holding it in. I’ve tied to pull it out but seams to...

    Removal of basel

How do you remove the plastic Basel that goes around the Radio, Heater & A/C vents on a '99 Mustang? I thought that it just pops out like the one around the lighter, but i've tried prying it out and it doen't seam to want to come and i'm afraid if i pry to hard it might brake. thanks

    Air Conditioning works but..

My Brother gave me a 30 lb container of 134a and i thought that I could use it to recharge my cars, but it only has about 20-25 PSI. So how do I get the134a into my system. Will I have to buy some kind of Vehicle charging system?

    rear end change out

I checked out the tag on the rear end and it says: top line: S260A second line: 3 27 75 8M11 does this mean that the ratio is 3:27 to 1? Seams a little high to me.

    rear end change out

What would I check on the tranny splines and the output shaft? I replaced the tail shaft bushing when I had the drive shaft balanced as it was wiped out. The suspension bushings look to be in good condition. No the vibration goes with the speed of the car & doesn't change if you change gears...

    rear end change out

It starts at about 30-35 MPH and is less noticeable at higher speeds like 65, by about 80 it's almost gone. yuo feel it during accelation and if you let up off the gas. The least amoount of vibration is when your not accelating or deaccelating.

    rear end change out

Nobody has any idea? My guess is from '99 thru '04 because the body looks the same, but then again maybe the earlier ones might use the same R.E.
