I'd agree on the exhaust sound part, that the 4.6 sounds more menacing and less hoity-toity euro-sophisticated.The 5.0 has a different firing order to the 4.6... that's probably why they sound different. The 5.0, from tuner coverage seems to be very responsive to bolt-on mods, and even better...
