i think only the brembos dont come with a spare tire.. I have one on my 2011 non-brembo 5.0 (polished premium wheels) not having a spare probably saves you about 40 lbs though

i dont see how ford can look at all these other cars like the new camaro etc making 450 hp 500 torque or w/e and still think 300 hp is acceptable. its rediculous they need to get a 5.4 with like 400+ HP asap

what size wheels and tires?

245 45 compared to 255 45 (top pic) and 245 40 compared to 255 40 (bottom pic) to me it looks like the 245 45 is missing some potential tread contact at the very edges (circled) might only be like 2mm but you can see the 255s contact patch is almost exactly 8 inches

heres my 245 45s when they were newer look good on the front but skinny on the back imo..

do you have any pics of them? thanks for your input im finding it hard to decide 255 or 245. Im going 45 height though i think, although 255/40s are pretty close to stock tire diameter. you notice any difference in handling?

Im thinking either 255/45 or 245/45 or mabe 255/40 245/45 is stock. Which would be the best traction? Im going with nitto 555s i think btw

I need new rear tires, im thinking either nitto 555s or nitto invo, or bfg kdw2's bfg kdw2s dont come in 245/45/17 though, so id have to get those in 245/40/r17 - would that be bad? what do you guys recommend- its my daily driver and i live in FL

yea those dont look like they would be good in rain.. too little tread depth the only crash ive been in was caused by low tread tires in the rain.. was just like ice and i slid into a guy after sliding for like 50 feet or more with 0 traction

my car feels like this too, i think it has to do with how wide tires act.. they just track the road more mine seemed to do it alot more right after i got my tires rotated though

i bought my 03 with 75k now it has 83k no real mechanical issues except the trac loc needed to be rebuilt, rebuilt it with carbon disc kit and it works good now the 8k i have put on it have been a hard 8k miles lol.. atleast i let it warm up before full throttle and use synthetic oil

I detailed my car a few days ago and my hamstrings were sore lol.. its a pretty good workout and tireing.. i didnt even clay bar it either, just washed and waxed i need to claybar it pretty bad , ill do that in a month or 2 anyone know what the best clay bar setup is?

yea i have the exact same thing, it sounds like an air hissing noise, i doubt it has to do with the tob.. mine goes away once my car is warmed up but its kinda loud before its warmed up. id love to be able to tighten something down and prevent it from leaking or whatever its doing while cold...
