    Im researching either ported stock head/intake combos and Gt40p options and was just curious about how people are making 300rwhp or close to it with this combo. It seems very close to a stock cobra setup with the GT40 heads, intake, and TB, are the Cobras extremely underrated from the factory?

    yeah if you're getting EGR at idle it will die, if you can reproduce the problem in your driveway, pull the EGR vacuum line and see if that helps, if it does it means your EGR is stuck open, if it is you might be able to clean it and get it unstuck.

    Im still learning about these cars myself but assuming your timing is good, Id check the Idle Air Valve on your TB, my car doesn't die but almost wants to and I hear these things get clogged over time.

    Transmission grinds at high RPM

    Mines not the same type of grind like when you mis-shift but a whine is maybe more accurate. I don't know much about how trannys work but Id say it sounds like a bearing because the noise definitely seems like something rotating very fast.

    Has anyone had a transmission grind at high RPM? It shifts fine but when already in gear after about 4k RPM I start hearing kind of a grinding noise, not the sound of a mis-shift but it is a grind of sorts.
