I think you're right. I never had this tire hop till I put on the GT Rims and wheels. It only happens when coming off the curb from the driveway and the wheels are turned all the way to the left or right. Thanks

I have an '03 V-6 with Cobra wheels and tires (wide) front and back. When I back out of the driveway with the wheels sharply turned I get a very pronounced "tire hop" coming from the front end. Does anybody with similar wide tires and wheels experience the same thing?

I started with dual exhausts and cold air intake. Thats probably the cheapest and easiest way to go in the beginning. I definitly feel a lot more pep out of the car since doing those two improvements.

Has anyone tried changing from stock gears on a V6 automatic to 4.10's. Or is it a waste of money on a V6. I'm not even sure what stock gears I have now (I think 2.73's)? Do I also have to change to a posi (T-Lok) in order to use the 4.10's? I'm sure my stock gears on my '03 (Auto. Trans) do not...

Just put in a Magnaflow Cat Back (from catalytic converter back) Dual Exhaust system on my 3.8. Easy to do and sounds great. Go to you-tube and search for all the different exhausts on Mustangs to hear the differences. Thats what I did! Liked Magnaflow the best.

Will I have to use a tuner on the car after the installs or will the computer resetting (after I reconnect the battery) be enough? Do you think I will feel a performance improvement with no idling problems?

I'm putting a cold air intake on a '03 V-6. The instructions say to disconnect the battery for five minutes then reconnect it after the install.
