    Thanks for the response. I believe the sensor is stuck I tried putting a jumper wire onto the Low-side of the A/c and the compressor would not turn on... so the AC does not need to be charged Gf states she drove car through a flooded part of the road.. don't know how deep though...

    Ok I tried .039" Shim, Couple Things, My Backlash is most likely still to tight, and if I hold the ring, I can move the pinion back and forth against the ring pry 1/8-1/4" is this normal? or pinion too deep?

    Thanks for the opinions Anyways -Ok, So 4.415-2.628 (number on the pinion) = 1.787 So when I measure the pinion head, I get 1.789. So try a shim of .003? or what would you try?
