I think there was something on the road, the front tires would not hold on the one road, But on the second road they held fine. And actually the the tires that come on the 19's are pretty sticky, given I live in CO so the car is alot slower here but I have to rev pretty high to get the tires...

No you will not hurt anything, the reason you can only get 91 in CO is becuase at higher elevation you dont need higher octane. There is alot less air therefore the car will run richer and does not need 93 like you had in D.C. Sucks how much slower your car is though huh?
