Cobra Calipers Vs. Dual Piston PBR's..Which is better?

again, do some research. People have tried this, but the curvature on the GT PBRs will not clear the larger diameter 13" rotors. IF you want to learn how brakes work, a place like www.howthingswork.com is a great start.

cant lock up brakes after rear disc install

Well reman calipers may still be the problem. Read up on the MP brakes website about the self adjusting clutches in the rear calipers with Ebrakes. FYI talking locking up brakes is a jackass thing to say. Locking the brakes or spiking them tells you nothing about how the system is working...

cant lock up brakes after rear disc install

DId you use the FMS M2450A plug and gut the stock PV from the combination valve? Also did you purchase this rear end used? How about the calipers? you sure that they are not damaged -- ie the self adjusting clutches in them? How did you compress the piston? Also how/what did you do to...

    master cylinder

You still have air in the lines. I believe you emailed me this also. You have air most likely in the rear calipers still. Get a pad spreader (or make something work), remove the caliper from the axle mount, invert and bleed. Do that on both sides until you get the air out. Then...

2005 GT Leather seats into a 1989 GT

Those cars have been out for about a month now? Not long. DId you find one at a bone yard already? I dont think anyone has worried about messing with them yet. You may want to find a Tbird or Lincoln LS and compare the mounting bolt pattern since they are all on the same platform...

Is front Ebrake cable needed on 91 GT?

Yes you need to follow the FMS instructions on modifying the handle. But yes you need the 2810 cable. The stocker is to short.

    96-98 vrs 99-04 rearend housings

A wider rear track will screw up your handling (all else the same). There is a reason the rear track is narrower than the front track from the factory. Get some books and a calculator to figure it all out. Beyond being wider, the 99+ cars use larger bolts to mount the control arms.

    94 control arms/spidles on a fox

The 94-98s have different length front arms. Measure to be sure. But unless you know why you need larger front A arms, dont install longer ones. There are modifications that need to be addressed for the car to handle correctly.

100mph 347 vibrations shift lever vibes bad .

Index the driveshaft. Great suggestion there. Also check all your motor mounts, tranny mounts and the bushings that mount the tranny bar to the unibody. If any are suspect, replace.

    TC rear disc noise

Your caliper is probably broke, stuck or frozen. calipers with built in E brakes have clutches that self adjust the piston. If they are broken, you will have problems with the caliper. Easiest way to damage them is to push in the piston, you have to turn them to defeat them. Grab a haynes...

    Brake fluid leak

That is the front plug for the PV in in the combination valve. It is prone for failure because it has a rubber plug in the center of it. What happened is it fell out, thus causing your leak. When you convert to rear disc brakes, you remove the stock PV behind that cap and install an...

want to upgrade brakes but have 15inch wheel

YOu can on the 87-93 v8 cars, upgrade to teh 73mm front calipers (and supporting MC upgrades). Then in the rear upgrade to the M2300C type of kits. Aerospace makes a multipiston caliper for the front that should work with the 15" wheels but may require a spacer.

    TC rear disc noise

Well start measuring the ID and OD of things. Most likely you will need to mill a few thousands off the axle flange. Also make sure the caliper is centered in the slide when installed.

    TC rear disc noise

That is most likely your noise. You first need to make sure that the ID on the rotor is larger than the OD on the axle flange. After that, is the scraping on the inside or outside edge? Once you know the rotor is not being warped by the clearances, you need to shim the anchor bracket in...

    4 lug bullit wheels?

First off the stock fox 79-93 spindles do NOT work with the newer wheels requiring the Sn95 spindles. That is a fact. The reason being is the length of the spindle. Second fact. Third fact, you will not stick a wide wheel and tire on the front of a fox without rubbing issues and spacers just...
