I just got my 5.0 and it has a stock CAI....what are the benefits of switching this one out for any of these other ones? A CAI is a CAI, right?

All the guys at Galpin Auto Sports recommended Bassani for the 2011s. They said it had a better sound and performance gain over Borla or Magnaflow. Maybe its personal preference...But the price was right, and I personally liked the sound, so I went with Bassani.

I've got Galpin Auto Sports putting a Bassani system on my 11 GT. All of their guys recommended it over the Borla system.

Anyone had an engine built by these guys? Chevy Crate Engines, Chevy Performance Engines, GM Performance Engines, 350,502 Big Block, Muscle Car Engines

I see what you mean. But whether it dies tomorrow, or in 2 weeks, that's still a power issue i shouldn't have to worry about dealing with. Especially since I'm turning the car from a weekend warrior into my everyday driver. Maybe its inevitable with old cars though. What kind of problems...
