    New 5.0 Owners With CAI/Tunes

I just got my 5.0 and it has a stock CAI....what are the benefits of switching this one out for any of these other ones? A CAI is a CAI, right?

new owner of 2011 GT and need exhaust help

All the guys at Galpin Auto Sports recommended Bassani for the 2011s. They said it had a better sound and performance gain over Borla or Magnaflow. Maybe its personal preference...But the price was right, and I personally liked the sound, so I went with Bassani.

    2011 Mustang GT Exhaust Opinions

I've got Galpin Auto Sports putting a Bassani system on my 11 GT. All of their guys recommended it over the Borla system.

    a 'K' Code for $150

Just bought a 66 mustang project and looking for info - Vintage Mustang Forums He says he'll be posting some pics today. We'll see if its in as good-a-shape as he claims. Either way, a $150 K code project is well worth it!

    a 'K' Code for $150

Alright, I had to spread the news. I was just on the VMF forums, and some guy just bought a 1966 K Code coupe off an old lady who was the original owner. Its been sitting in a car port for 30+ years, has very little to no rust, and apparently all it needs is a hood and a bumper. Less than 6K on...

    A 347 for my 65

Hey everyone. I've been toying with the idea of building a 347 Stroker for my 65 Fastback. I would like to build it myself, only, I haven't built an engine before. SO, it has been recommended to me by many people to buy a completed shortblock (already machined, balanced, and ready to go), and...

    Disc Brake Conversion

Thanks again for the advice guys. Mission complete. And way less expensive than I feared. Big thanks to Dan @ Chockostang - I went with the 4 Piston K/H Disc breaks. Good call sir.

    Restomod Radios, Gauges, etc...

I see what you mean. But whether it dies tomorrow, or in 2 weeks, that's still a power issue i shouldn't have to worry about dealing with. Especially since I'm turning the car from a weekend warrior into my everyday driver. Maybe its inevitable with old cars though. What kind of problems...

    Restomod Radios, Gauges, etc...

A few years back I had a detachable-face CD player installed under the dash in a custom housing. The stereo worked great, sounded good, etc. And then the next morning i went to start my car and it was dead. Turns out that even when the radio was off, and the car not running, the radio was still...

    Restomod Radios, Gauges, etc...

I think it also has to do with having all Auto-meter gauges. So, I'd be paying twice as much for the Auto-meter gauges instead of MP gauges and aluminum trim instead of plastic trim...tempting. Thanks for the post Az Pete. Looks good! :nice: As far as the CAS radios; I've been reading a lot...

    Disc Brake Conversion

Thanks for all the tips guys. Good stuff. I've been hearing a lot of people telling me that doing a front brake conversion and leaving the rear brakes alone is a good idea. What do you all think? Just the front, or all 4? @ Dan - I sent you a PM on the VMF Forums...but you basically answered...

    Restomod Radios, Gauges, etc...

I'm strongly considering the Retrosound Classic radio for my 1965 Fastback. It will look original, but with all the bells and whistles of today's standards. But I'm also seeing the Custom Autosound radios out there. Anybody recommend one or the other? And would anyone recommend having a...

    Disc Brake Conversion

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums. I've got a 65 Fastback 2+2 still rocking drum brakes. I was wondering if anyone has gone through the "coversion" process to Discs. Since the car is slowly transforming from a weekend warrior into an everyday driver, i was thinking this may be a good safety move...
