Thats odd. I wonder if the 2010 trunks are flat in that area. The reason is, there's a guy on one of the other forums that took his emblem off and covered it with a stick on blackout decal. I don't recall him having that issue. Anybody know for sure?

Not bad at all. Its still got that 'chug chug chug' boaty sound that all S197s tend to have. I'd love to hear it in person to really get a feel for it. Thanks for the link.

The 1999 -2004 is one of the best, if not the best body styles, IMO. I had a 2004 GT, I loved it. You're going to miss the great sound of a New Edge. NOTHING sounds as good, not even Foxbodies, IMO. I love my 2010, but it sounds like a shrimp boat. Even with aftermarket exhaust, I've never...

I think you're right. My friend ordered his 2011 Shelby, and said the same thing. I imagine its the same for the 2012. Whatever is on the outside, is on the inside in other words. The rules for GTs are different. I have the stripes on my seats, but no stripes on the exterior. Good luck.

A foxbody is a great starter Stang. Parts are cheap and grow on trees, and they are relatively easy to work on. I had a '89 GT, loved it. Congrats!

Yeah, some more details would help, but my '89 had a Ford Racing King Cobra in it. It worked great and held the power, but my car was only making horsepower in the low-mid 300 range.

Its funny you mention that. I have a friend that has a 2011 Shelby and he said thats one of his few complaints. Me, I think they look good on the Shelby. I opted to order my GT without them though. The GTs look better with the regular lights, IMO of course.

I have a friend that runs a speed shop down here in Houston, he said for the 3V motor, the Whipple gets you the best bang for buck. Not sure if he was just trying to sell me one or not, but thats what he said! ;)
