I just want lay ot over so I can remove the carpet. Can I do this?

I am replacing my old carpet in my GT. I got everything else removed and when it gets to the shifter I am not sure I am going to right way. There is four 8mm or so bolts present. If I remove those will the shifter be able to get out of the way? Thanks

This is NHRA stocker, believe me there is nothing stock about this car, the cam, heads, converter, transmission, gears and so forth have been changed.

I went another route, I used the autometer panel that went into the vents. All of mine are mechanical too, I made a custom wiring panel similar to the painless wiring panel for the stang. The reason I did not use the painless wiring panel is it did not have separate fused switches. I ran one...

Actually I was doing just one and was goinfg to see if it would line up before I put the spring on. I did remove the quad shock I was able to get it in with no prob

I went to put a set of new lowers on my 92 GT. I went to put back on the sprind and the rear seems to be out of alignment. The bolt hoke is about 1/4" to 3/8" off. Should I loosen up the lower to and then bring it back into alignment. I plan to put on s set of adjustable uppers too?

go with the standard size in fact I would even say go with the boltons and later on them get them welded.

There is another reason to degree the cam. By degreeing the cam you are verifying that the cam was ground correctly. If you are installing just a stock cam I would not really go through the trouble. If I remember right you have to use a advance or retard crankshaft key
