What a jack ass! I would get a quote from a repair shop and tell him he will pay you that amount or take him to court. He WILL do this to you or another family member again if you let him walk from this. You might lose money, but it sounds like he needs to learn a lesson. Best of luck to you.

I have the jegs O/R X and flowmaster 40's... It's almost too loud. What ever you do, do a cat back... Mine are weld in's and they have too much mettalic sound... I think it's partially from the tubing going from 2.5 to 2.25 then flows, then 2.25 to the tips...
