On the drivers side of the engine block down by the motor mount is a ground cable that is known to become loose and cause that problem.

Another thing that can cause that code is if you have a Steeda timing adjuster installed and there is the slightest wobble while rotating.

I agree with you, when the time comes the final price of the GT500 will be the deciding factor. Soemthing to consider is when the GT500 rolls out the market will be flooded with GT's and the market adjustment should be minimal if at all, thus lowering the out the door price.

I think that would be everyone's first instinct to think that, however when you get people like me that are Mustang enthusiasts and have been driving Mustangs for 25 years of all models ranging from 4, 6, and 8 cylinders you may find that there are more folks that wouldnt have a huge problem...

Speculating, the GT500 may cost approximately $15-20k out the door over what a new Mustang GT costs. Throw some of that savings into a SC and other mods and you still get quite a nice new performing car. Yes the GT500 will be the king of the hill but not everyone can turn over a new car plus...

X-Plan has been offered on all previous SVT including Cobra's so we'll just have to wait and see about the new GT500. Big-Al, thanks for the info. I have a salesman I deal with on all my purchases and have emailed him about this. Just wanted to make sure his story lined with others.

Ye'Haw.....No idea what I'll use it on yet but good to know. Do X-plans vary based on the business partner? Looks like 4% below MSRP on my X-Plan so trying to get the full scoop on this so when I use it I know the deal.

Thanks for the responses. The last auto Mustang I owned was an 89 GT 5.0 and I thought for an auto performed quite well. I also prefer a stick but getting older and lazier so looking at all options.
