Just for anyone that runs into the same problem i'm ordering the http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-78mm-throttle-intake.html# and the MMR adapter plate.

90% of the reason for replacing the OE intake ( other than it was cracked ) is to get rid of the plastic intake that has so many issues. the only problem i may run into with a new TB is clearance

yea ive been looking into different things and i may just delete the egr and go w / a new throttle body
