If I already had an aftermarket H-pipe I don't think I would change to an x-pipe. I don't think if would be worth the time or money involved.

SLP no longer sells OR X pipes or the race pipes. I called SLP and they state a law passed the forbids the selling of OR pipes. This includes the MIL eliminators also.

That HP number seems really low to me. I had a V1 Vortech setup on my 99 GT that ran 360-370 HP with just some exhaust mods and a 90mm MAF. At 12 psi I was at 404 HP but like your friend my engine did not last very long.
