I have a 99 Cobra with 602 hp at the engine and believe it or not, it still has the stock clutch. The TOB is singing like crazy and I would like to replace the clutch as well. Are there different types/stages of King Clutches, Centerforce or is it one type works for all applications?

Is dealer holdback really that much? Is holdback the same on Cobras no matter what dealership has them or does it vary? 27k still isn't bad. I'm holding out for a slightly higher rebate and/or a factory to dealer incentive.

29,000 after holdback. Then subtract the current 2500 cash incentive and another 500 for military (if you qualify) and another 1000 bonus if you finance through Ford credit. That leaves a purchase price of 25,000. Is that correct? Sounds too good to be true.

How much more incentive will Ford offer for the 2004's? Right now it is $2,500 for all body types including the Cobra. With the '05 rolling out I would think Ford would offer more to free up space.

Until people stop paying over sticker most of us will be forced to wait. I can't blame the dealer for making the extra $$$. But for me, the wait will be worth the extra savings. The GT I test drove 5 days ago was suppossed to be sold but the deal fell through and it's just sitting on the lot...
