1999-2004 Gt Front Disk Setup On A 95 Gt Mustang

This is a great upgrade. Cost for calipers and pads from advance auto with 20% off is $115. The pads are much bigger, and there is a weight saving advantage too, new calipers are alum.

1999-2004 Gt Front Disk Setup On A 95 Gt Mustang

thanks. I'll give the 99GT calipers a try. The pad thickness is the same for 95 and 99GT, so I hope I can use my 95 rotors. Already have the cobra MC

1999-2004 Gt Front Disk Setup On A 95 Gt Mustang

Gotcha, thanks. I guess there's not that much improvement with a dual piston caliper with the same rotor diameter. I"m looking for more holding power on the starting line at the track. Slim chance to find cobra brakes at the junkyard.

1999-2004 Gt Front Disk Setup On A 95 Gt Mustang

Has anyone done this ? From what I understand the 1999-2004 rotors are 13" OD, 1995 oem are 11" OD. Sounds like a reasonable upgrade if you can get it from a junkyard at a good price.

    1995 Gt Aode Rebuild Questions

I did this about a yr. ago. I will say it's not a job for someone just starting out working on trans, but it's doable for someone with alot of general mechanic experience. The best info I found was on the clickclick racing forum. A member that goes by the name of silverfox has tons of info on...

Does 95 Gt Have A Knock Sensor ?

Zero chance of a "grenaded " block. When I work on stuff, I fully understand what I'm doing and take a graded approach, or I don't f with it.

Does 95 Gt Have A Knock Sensor ?

Thanks for the suggestions. Car is drag only. Looking to fine tune at this point. The only things I can really do at this point is tweek the fuel and spark. Neither of those parameters have been changed from stock. As I mentioned I have a tweecer and have made made most of the recommended...

Does 95 Gt Have A Knock Sensor ?

thanks. the reason I'm asking is that I'd like to find a simple way to determain as I tune if I'm adding too much advance. I have a tweecer, but its not an RT. I have a WB and I could probably log the knock sensor if I had one. I did see somewhere else that I may be able to add one, but it...

Engine Cost Effective Cold Air In Ca

A shorter air intake assembly, and cooler air both make sense. Here's a picture of a 94 running in nhra stock eliminator, he is or was a national record holder. What is he using for a filter here ?

Solving Idle/surging Issues With Iac Mod

Seems all is good now. In addition to the gasket mod I did, I found a conflict within tweecer. There was an idle setting associated with the ISC that had to be within 100 rpm with the Idle in neutral and Idle in gear setting. Thanks for the help. Brian

Solving Idle/surging Issues With Iac Mod

I found about 6 different settings for ISC in the tweecer. A couple of them deal with idle speeds, so I'll have to try a couple of things. Not sure if I'll undo what I did to the gasket or not. Sure would be nice if I could find some good tuning info. Just a little info here and there. thanks...

Vacuum at idle is around 15" I have a tweecer. Do you know if the bypass can be regulated with a tweecer ?

Solving Idle/surging Issues With Iac Mod

Hi All, I'm a new member here. I have a 95 mustang GT auto trans. Engine is stock except for headers, CAI. I recently added a different cam, very mild specs. So as others have experienced, the idle is rough, somewhat expected, but the problems is that it dies when put into gear, and also...
