you wanna make sure you car is at a normal operating temp before testing emissions. The surging at idle could be your IAC, or it could be a vaccum leak, get a can of starting fluid and spray around

nah it wasn't that because I pressed unlock a bunch of times and it would just crank, it wouldnt start until i started to unplug and replug fuses

When I make a turn the steering does not return at all, its easy to turn the wheels with the power steering but after the turn I have to manually turn the wheel back without an assit, I'm not really sure what can cause this, the only thing I could think of would the pump being bad but I don't...

My IAC must be bad with the a/c on, perhaps the compressor messes with the IAC, oh wait thats impossible :rolleyes:

now back to my problem...the a/c works fine, gets nice and cold, what could be causing the idle problem?
