    IRS poll

Good discussion. Honestly, I would buy a '05 IRS or not. In my opinion, Ford is missing a market buy not making the IRS an option on the GT. Like I said before, I am a Mustang guy. I want nothing more than for me and my future kids to be talking about Mustangs when they start to drive...

    IRS poll

Please Read: It would have cost Ford $300 dollars to put it in to the car (not the option price) $300. Are you telling me that $300 dollars is that much more money? They had to develop a whole new suspension half way though development because some bozo didn't want to pay an extra $300...

    IRS poll

Your right.... The Camaro was in such high demand. GM couldn't keep up with demand and the prices were so high on these cars. In fact GM built so many of these cars that they are making them today right? Maybe in your area they price gouged them, but I talked to a dealer that was selling SSs for...

    IRS poll

I think you got this all wrong. There are '03 Cobras that run in the 10s with IRS. They seem to have no problem going fast. That with a retrofitted IRS on a car that wasn't designed to have IRS. Seems to me like only professional drag racers would need the live axle. I'm sure you would want...

    IRS poll

If the 350z doesn't do it for you, how about the RX-8? 25k. Although I don't see it hurting sales initially, I think that down the road, IRS will have to become standard. The Mustang has new competition. Its not just cars with V8s but WRXs, 350z, RX-8, EVO, SRT-4. All of these vehicles are...

    05' mustang Rear spoiler POLL

The spoiler on the production car looks too tacked on. The concept on the other hand, was much cleaner and looked more like the 65-68 fastbacks which the car was designed after.

    IRS poll

Read this http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/autos/reviews/ford/story/1601072p-1883794c.html A whopping $300. I would rather have IRS than dash lights that change color  I think there are three possible reasons why we didn't get IRS. 1. It made the car too heavy, which made the car...

    'o5 AfterMarket Question

Doesn't Roush do alot of powertrain development for Ford? I remember reading along time ago that they were testing the engines. They may have not seen the car, but I would think that they would have at least seen the engine.

    Leaked email from Ford Employee

The whole last generation before they were axed had IRS. There is a lot of speculation going around about the new Mustang. I, for one, love debating it. Some of the things, such as a 3800 lbs car seem laughable to me. The car it's based off of weighs that much, has 4 doors, a luxury interior...

    Leaked email from Ford Employee

Your right. Ford F-ed it up and they are paying for it today. Ford's whole business now depends on trucks and SUVs. The Mustang is very important for Ford. It brings in new customers both young and old. It is the only car in the Ford line-up, besideds the under-selling SVT focus that you...

    Leaked email from Ford Employee

Exactly. Its not going to weigh as much as a Lincoln LS, which weighs that much, if not less. Also, an article in MM&FF, which interviewed vp Chris Theodore, quoted him as saying that they have been working with the aftermarket to build up performance parts so that owners can customize their...

    Here It Is: Uncamouflaged!

Amen to that. How could you look at this picture and not see the lines from a 67 - 68 fastback? I also think the car would look 10 times better if it had the concepts hood. I'm not a fan of the bubble in the hood. It takes a great, straight edged design and puts a bubble in it.

    >>> Kenne Bell 2V twinscrew SC is here!!!!!

Down low the 302 has feels alot stronger than the 4.6. I had an '86 (year with crappy heads and intake) and when I test drove my '99 I remember thinking "These things really aren't that fast". Now where the 4.6 shines is up top. The stock 5.0 would fall flat on it face around 4500 rpms, but...
