    4.30's or 456's. I have had 4.10's in before and went 4.30's and wished I had 4.56's :D Stay away from metal CAI's. If I had another 97 Cobra again I would mod my car the same except go with 4.56's.

    I would look at the PATS and the key not being original. Sounds like the ECM is seeing this and shutting the car off.

    Get some motor mounts while you are at it. That would be a perfect time to upgrade or replace some damaged ones. You can re-use the stock bolts, but if you want to spend the extra coin then get the locking bolts. I re-used my stock ones with no issues.

    I had the best luck with the Ford ones. Too many issues with adjustable cables and read too many issues about them too.

    When I had 275's up front, the car tramlined a lot more than the 245's and 255's I had. The catfish does it as well since i have went with 275's.

    Yep, the above post is spot on. Also, if you give SVT the engine block serial number located on the left rear by the oil pan, they can send you another signature plate.

    He said he was redlining the car when he was driving. He would have noticed either the performance it has or the lack of performance.

    Got the longtubes installed today

    An exhaust leak can make a ticking type sound. Granted this was with a 4v, but I notice a nice increase in low end power and the car was quieter until I mashed the gas.

    97 Cobra....drove it, not impressed

    The engine probably has issues. Even a bone stock 96-01 Cobra should put you in the seat especially after 3250 rpms(except the 99/01). it would be more noticeable if it had a gear too. I bet there is an issue.

    Your ET and MPH can improve. I was running 13.6's@103-104 with an h pipe, shifter and mufflers. Your setup, you should be 13.2-13.3 @105. The 18's are hurting you and practice!

    I don't think the ZEX will do it and you have a good chance with the NX kit. Also depends on when you spray it too.
