My current average is 19.5 city/hwy mix. My driving style is weird. Some days to work I drive 65 some days I drive 80-85. Half the time I put around town, and the other half Im gettin on it. Havent taken it on a strictly hwy trip yet. Gas mileage is for 4 bangers.

I got Dplan -1000 rebate + shelby pkg. Was that right? Did you get A plan -1000 +the 8300?

I am brand new to the S197 body style. I picked up an 07 SGT about a week and a half ago. I have had Pre PI GTs, PI GTs, and some SN95 4Vs...but these new 3V motors are foreign to me. Ive heard people talking about CMDPs and CMCV deletes. What do the acronyms stand for and what do these parts...

I got 5 Grand off my new shelby.:nice: Blk/Blk 07 5spd. Shaker 1000 and sat radio. They only did that because I work at a Lincoln dealership. They D-planed the GT part and added for the Shelby package...which BTW went up for 08s. :nice:

Either way PI or non-PI I was embaressed to take my GT to strictly with all the Cobras and GT500s running around there. This was the first time I had showed up there with a SOHC.

you could say the same thing about powershifting 1-2. if it grinds its a T45.

Go to your local Ford dealership and they should have them in stock. You can also negotiate with the parts people. You dont have to pay full retail. I have a huge Ford Racing Parts dept up on the North side of town in Houston and a good guy there. He hooks it up big time. $96 for the Chin...he...

Yea that thing isnt even a C5 Z06. Its missing the fixed roof...its got the hatch. So its an LS1. Depending on which mods he has, its hard to say. Those LS1s wake up with very few parts. If he's stock or just exhaust and intake you SHOULD win. If he has any more work than that watch out.

Longtubes, Heads and cams are next round of mods. Along with Pullies. I just got this thing about 5 months ago 100% bone stock. It's gonna take a while.

Ya at Strictly. Richard is a very good guy and I trust him 100% after he went in and fixed all of Mike Murillo's nightmares on my old 4V.
