I had pinging after my tune. Changed the thermostat for a 180 and the pinging went away. I cleaned my MAF and it seemed to make the car even smoother.

If you just drive around and race sometimes the Nitto 555 are your best bet. I just got some Nitto 555RIIs and I swear by those for any more serious action. Local AUTOCross competition last weekend I got second place in my class.

I'm close to the mark - missing LT headers and proper mid-pipe. I think 300WHP is going to be out of reach unless I cam it... but I won't do that with out lower intake and head work. And buddy just before me posts a valid point... a lot of Dynos are off the mark... so who knows.

As a side note, anyone that drives their cars relatively hard, the Nitto 555IIR are actually not bad for thread wear in comparison to the Goodyear. A friend with a not so stock Z06 was testing them, and developped the theory that because there is LESS wheel spin all over the band the wheels...

I beleive the 05 is good for some low 13s in the stick version. If my 00 and 02 could run 13.6 and 13.7 stock and this car has 45WHP more? Why not?

Why? Can you actually adjust them for a noticeable improved 60ft? Or is it more to get your 1200HP drag car to point in the right direction down the quartermile when you getty and go.

T-56 requires power to giddy up. TKO is the 'upgrade' in my book to having a fast WEEKEND WARRIOR ROD. Who races in 5th ot 6th for that matter anyways. :shrug:

THanks for the info guys. The TKO seems to make a hell of a lot more sense than the T56. That first long gear looks scary for the quarter.

Is the clutch the same? Is the housing the same? Anyone know what I should expect (to go wrong) if I try to swap my T3650 (third one) for a T45?
