    A/C clutch coil

    guess nobody knows. ok- anybody with a 91-93 with a/c take a mulitmeter and pop off the power plug from the compressor and check the resistance of the clutch coil for a comparative reading??????????

    Have a 93 vert.. the a/c compressor will not come on. I have 12v to it when it is turned on. also jumpered out the low pressure switch. The clutch is not locked up either...Is there any way to bench test the clutch coil ???

    Usta 'borrow' speed limit signs and the like for floor pan rust. spot weld them and cover it all up with roofing tar...the good old days...

    broken door handle

    have to remove the inner door panel when replaceing the handle to engage the linkage. instead of using rivets, I used aircraft grade bolts. Also ordered them from 50resto. the ones I bought at local auto stores were junk. wasted my time and money on them

    take the vac line off of the pressure regulater- located on the fuel rail- if it has fuel in it, it is bad

    when you roll the key over- just prior to starter engagement, do you hear the fuel pump turn on for a second or 2 and then turn off?

    was looking at your earlier posts.. your block numbering pattern is wrong. you numbered - front to rear- 1342. should be 1234. check the diagram I uploaded and recheck your fire sequence

    the sensor in the dist is the hall effect switch. from the manuals I have it cannot be replaced. have to replace the dist... when you checked for spark, I assume you placed a screwdriver in the plug wire and shorted it to the block? or bought the inline spark tester?. also, you mentioned that...

    no. just be sure to use the dieletric paste incl w/ the new part otherwise it will burn out

    there is no need to remove the dist. the tfi bolts to the side of it- gray plastic piece with an elec plug and 2 screws
