    Changing door glass

+1 on using the rivets. However, if you have never done rivets that large, prepare your pucker factor. After the first one, I was scratching my head in amazement that I didn't have a lap full of glass. Also, when I did mine, I used bolts (loose) to drive to the local dealership who let me use...

    Help!

Thanks! Should be back on the road this afternoon. Taking the opportunity to have my AFR and 42# injectors installed since the intake is off. :D

    Help!

No hard acceleration at the time. Normal 5 AM commute. Probably the result of pokin it one too many times (3 years and 40,000 miles on the engine). Not that I would ever do that! I guess its just one of those things.

Update For those interested...... Broken valve spring, #5 cylinder.

    Help!

Ah yes, I see now. At idle I was able to bring the AFR down into the 12's and it seemed to start choking as I added more. Tapping was still there throughout the adjustments. I think I will pull those connectors and give them a fresh coat of grease just to be sure. If that doesn't do it, I guess...

    Help!

Yeah, that did cross my mind, but I kind of blew it off since it has that bolt thing that secures it. Maybe the other side though, where it mates up with the engine harness. You're right, I should probably check it. That may explain the ACT sensor code, but not the tapping, right?

    Help!

Driving to work Friday, after about 28 miles of normal cruise, I was coming out of a 45 zone, car was in third gear. I increase speed to 55, and just as the trans shifted into OD the car started to shudder as if it had a spark miss. Running pretty ragged for the next mile to work, and the check...

turbine wheels (well they where stock on 5.0) anyone ever see aftermarket pony caps?

I have seen the pony center caps in a Texas Mustang catalog in both standard and chrome (not cheap though). They only had the turbind caps with the Ford logo. Don't think I have ever seen them with the pony emblem.

    whats wrong with my heater

The compressor always runs when the control is set to defrost, no matter if you have it set to hot or cold. The cycling of the compressor means that you are a little low on freon (the compressor has a cut-off built in to protect it from damage if the freon leaks out)

    gas mileage questions

FWIW...the Cobra intake does not use an EGR spacer. It's 'built in' for lack of a better term.

Just a thought....if you have lighted mirrors on the sun visors, make sure they are turning off when you close them. Just had the same problem with my sons 90 lx. I hope its cured now.

    Hi-6 plug gap

Thanks guys! Don't know what the coil output is. It is a Crane PS-91, and all I can tell you is you don't need a dark room to find an arcing wire. Major lightning bolts! :D You guys ever tried cutting back the ground strap?

    Hi-6 plug gap

OK I have searched and read until my eyes are buggin out. For those with Crane (or other ignition modules), what plug gap are you using for Autolite 25's?

    Vacuum leak question

Just a thought....before drilling a permanent hole in the throttle plate, I would consider installing the idle adjuster plate. Costs less than $20, and if it doesn't solve your problem, you're not stuck with a hole.

    Read my plug please?

LOL, I also saw the post abut the disconnected wire, and started a thread on here to notify others. Checked mine and sure enough, it was not connected. So after reconnecting it, I cleared the computer memory, reset the base idle, cleared the memory again, and ran it for a couple of days to let...

    Read my plug please?

Thanks for the replies..... 30,000 miles on the plugs, used only for 30 mile daily commute plus the occasional spanking of a local accord. I have better pictures but the file size is too big to post, and once you mess with it to make it fit, it starts to look like what I posted. The only...
