So I bought an aod from a friends friend... anyways I get it home and it just doesnt look like an aod to me, but ive never really had any autos... im 99.999 the bellhousing can unbolt isnt that only on c4's? what is the best way for me to find out what I have.

with a solid lifter can I use standrad flat tappet pushrods or do they need to be specific for solid?

Trying to look up an old cam im going to use... its a crane cam number is 941681 I know its a huge solid lifter cam.. trying to find out what the recomended push rod/lifter setup to use its somthing like 272/276 640/650 lift but cant remmeber thanks!

im guessing your using that as final polish? whats about heavy cutter?

Hooked up an mechanical gauge... pressure seemed to be okay 20 at hot idle... drove it around the block got maybe 300ft and this happened nothing like having a motor explode with 1 mile on it. Seems the wrist pin was starved for oil and welded itsself to the rod... destroyed everything...
