    Wheel key problem

i bought these lh threaded sockets from a local speed shop. Worked decently, but the impact wrench was necessary. Craftsman makes these new bolt out things that look like a socket, that have tapered teeth inside. I don't know if they go big enough, but those things have not failed me yet. tom

no my mustang, but i hit a curb with my mazda protege and it looked like that. I bent the lower control arm and the rim. The rim didn;t look bad, but after i fixed the control arm i put it back on and it was sooo bad it wasn't funny. I think the contol arm is bent. tom

Rear End Problems - What else is new :(

yeah, i think that those launches took its toll on the diff. Depending on how much money you want to spend, but i wouldn't replace it with a stock one. Eventually it will fail also. Your best bet, i feel, is to go with a eaton or auburn

    smoking...sad!

I don't mean to be a dick, but was the liquid leaking out from the exhaust green or clear? If the car was running fine beforehand, i don't think it would just blow a head gasket like that. I think that you just had some excess condensation in the cylinders and intake and exhaust and whatnot...

    Slower than stock!!!

make sure that you give it a some more timing, but with the aluminum heads, the combustion chamber is cooler, so that allows you to run more timing. Stick with it, i'm in the same boat as you. MY car doesn't make nearly the power it should, but i'll figure it out. tom

Sorry, i am kinda late on this, but the person who had my car before me, had a build 460 in my car. It was fast as hell, but nose heavy. The rear used to come around on him real quick. The reason he took it out was because when he hit the brakes the car would nose dive bad. I don't know if...
