    Cam/Intake Suggestions

I would go with the TFS heads which it sounds like you are going with and a Stage 1 TFS cam. You never said if your car was injected or carbureted??? Either way I would go with this combo. When I was injected this combo worked great for me. The intake I used when I was injected was the...

    What to expect?

As far as what to expect, you won't notice any gains in the 1/4 if you run at the track. Like the others said the car should run better. However, when you do add H/C/I you will then obviously start noticing a huge improvement in the overall performance of the car.

    upper control arms????

I run UPR Double adjustables in my car with spherical bushings. They were a piece of cake to install and I'm really happy with them.

Definitely a top notch radiator. I've had one in my car for 4 years and love it.

    People with my setup, come.

Believe it or not, on my dad's 93LX with the AFR 165 heads he actually ran his best et's with timing at 13 degrees. We tried the setting anywhere from 12-17 and it ran the best at 13 with these heads. More timing isn't always better.

    question on nitrous?????

Bad advice. I would definitely use one. A few years ago I was racing at an NMRA race and we were sitting around in the pits when the bottle let loose. If it wouldn't have been for that blow down tube there would have been trouble in the car. My advice is to just buy one and install it the...

    93's running nitrous

I have a 93GT and back in the day when I was running nitrous I made almost 200 passes on a 150 shot of nitrous without a problem. This is with a completely stock bottom end. I even got a bit greedy and ran a 175 shot and still not a problem. But, if you stick with a 150 shot or less, stay...

    11.81 to 10.98 w/ NX 150 shot....

ok, so on the nitrous you are gaining 26 mph in the final 1/8th mile. That is very good in my book. You may be able to get more et out of it by playing with your timing and fuel pressure, but be very careful with the timing. Make sure you check plugs after each nitrous pass. Back in the...

    11.81 to 10.98 w/ NX 150 shot....

I think thats a pretty decent gain. You may be able to tune a little more out of it. Out of curiosity what is your 1/8 mile speed? I'm curious as to how much speed your picking up in the last 1/8th mile. That will tell you a lot and if you're actually running the et it should be running.

going from injected to carburated, need help.

A few years ago I switched from FI to carb. My setup is a Holley HP series 650 carb, and Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake, a Holley Black Pump with an Aeromotive Regulator. I love this combo. Each time out the car gets quicker. Oh, and it sure is nice not having all those wires and crap in the...

You guys with c4's come in! please

Like I said, if you're concerned call someone like Strange or Denny's driveshaft and get a quote on a custom driveshaft. It won't be cheap though.

You guys with c4's come in! please

I also run the FRPP aluminum on my car with a C-4. It definitely doesn't go into the tailshaft as much as when I was running a T-5 and initially I was a little concerned. But, I've been running the car down the track like this for almost 3 years without a single problem. If you're concerned...

    Running 12's!

This is definitely a route you can take to get you into the 12's. You failed to tell us what ET you are currently running? Another route is to install a nitrous kit. Back in the day when my motor was stock all I had for mods was a catback, gears, tires and an NX wet kit and the car went...

    Aluminum Radiators

If you haven't purchased a radiator yet you may want to look into a Ron Davis radiator. I have it in my car and I love it. I know of several people out here in Phoenix that run the same radiator and have never had a problem with it.
