Like other people have said. Hold off on the cam. My LX will not see the strip, so I kept that in mind with the combo. Nothing flashy or exotic. Finnally complted the T-5 swap last week. It's fun to drive.

I got their deluxe ones. Decent pieces. Fit well. Watch your cuts though. No idea on the others.

Ditto. Mine would idle at 700 then shoot to 1200 or so after a few minutes, then back down to 700. Drove me nuts. Discover a split vac line in the upper intake. I couldnt even see it. I think it was starter fluid I used to find it. Frustrating as hell.

The GT40 looks great and would have been my only reason for using it. I went with the stock ported upper and lower (the full monty) by TMOSS.

Well it was the pip / hall sensor and or the TFI. I replaced both. Idled good, timed up correctly, and drove good. The new engine sounds good. Finally after a year and a half I took it down the road and back. Thanks for the help

I was going through JOEL 5.0's TFI/Hall Sensor test. When I put the 12v light on the pip wire (top one), it kills the motor. Is this suppose to happen?

Well found out why I was only runing at 150 on the temp.:mad:

Are you sure it's not your head gasket?

How much were the heads milled? If they were milled a lot did the intake side of the head get milled to match? Could it be the timing cover? A cracked head? Is the intake cracked on a water port? Are you torquing to sequence? What gaskets? Are they being put on correctly? Are...
