The cobra one is the same exact tranny, just different input and output shafts... and steeper first gear. Your car will probably gain a bit of time down the track, because you will be in your upper powerband for longer because you have an extra gear ( 5 vs 4 ) that are for racing

detonation is extremely bad for your car. and no, its much different than a cam or lope.. if you want that sound, unplug one of your spark plugs, you'll hear a lope.

the Z/V rating is speed, not wear. The treadwear is what you should look for if you want a tire to last long.

03 Cobra Spoiler for $100? You might want to check that, because thats 1/3 of what they cost new.. also, you'll need a new trunk lid. IM me, Crazy685.. Im going to do the Roush body kit and I dont need this trunklid NOR the spoiler anymore, and Id be willing to do a possible deal.

Your tire will look sucked in... I have 285s on my 18x9 and they look perfect... my 265s on the 18x9 fronts have a bit of a lip.. no biggie

Just sand it down, and paint it silver... after you paint it, apply a coat of that spray on high temp stuff.. it wont look NEARLY that bad, but it will eventually turn brownish
