EEC Codes Question (Possible TPS Sensor??)

EEC code 628 You didn't say what mods your car has but if you replaced the AODe with the wide ratio gears or a 4R70W that's the code you get. Also if your converter is slipping and not locking up, the output shaft has a sensor that measures its speed vs what the EEC expects and if its...

    a little tweecer help please

Tweecer strategy ZA0 is correct, on the newer versions of CalEdit the strategy for that family of processors is CBAZA, ZA0 is not an option from the pull down menu. This strategy selects the correct table, scalar and function list so the data populates correctly. Try selecting A9L and...

Best Built up AODE 4R70W Combination?

Best AODe/converter combo Thanks for the complements. I know we list all the mods on our website but I should have indicated that I have 3.73s and without the Tweecer the Wideratio gear set won't work in our EECs. You have to be able to change the gear ratio settings and converter...

    a little tweecer help please

Tweecer help Your strategy should be CBAZA. Your EECIV code is either W4H0 or T4M0, the 94 Cobra's were J4J1 and will work too. They have a more agressive spark curve and fuel settings. Most people find that with H/C/I mods the J4J1 tune works pretty well for a starting point. The older...

    opinion?

What to do next? For the money, gears will give you the best performance for the money at the drag strip on a stock motor. Just adding an intake w/o headers better cam etc won't help much. Do some research. There are several kits that offer complete intake, heads and cam set ups. Even...

Coolant Temperature, does this sound right....

Does this sound right? Stock EEC values command low speed fan on at 208 and off at 204. High speed fan on at 228 and off at 220!. Good old emissions tune. It will run slightly cooler with the heater on because your removing heat from the coolant via the heater core to the interior. Be...
