Do you have a bump steer tie rod ends or caster/camber plates. I dont know where you get your alignment but maybe they just set the toe and let it go.

I have the same 4 ton jack as TheUser does and its worked fine for the 2 years ive had it. it may be over kill for you but you never know when you might need it.

I wouldnt do this unless you have the diff in a jig or else you could have some problems with warping. If your tubes are already out of alignment it will make it worse.
