My old 98 GT Auto with factory 16in" H rated tires was speed limited at 120mph. Once I hit 120 the engine would cut on and off keeping me at 120mph.

I also put the stock rubber inner boot back on and it works fine. The noise is pretty much what the stock shifter was. It slides over the Tri-Ax just fine, you have to stretch it a little to get it over the shifter handle bolts.

I don't know off-hand, but if you have your vehicle manual, it might have instructions?

I don't believe there's any performance advantage using a higher octane than recommended on a stock vehicle (87 octane)...just piece of mind.

2002 GT, 5300 miles... and have also experienced 1-2 grind and it has been babied. Even after warm-up, it is still hard to put into 2nd gear sometimes (sporadic). Thank God I have a 2nd vehicle I drive, in the winter, here in Chicago.
