flowmaster is by far not one of the greatest mufflers out there for power. the original glasspack mufflers are not a very good straight through muffler either. something to do with the louvers in the pipe that create a bit of resistance to flow.

they would create enough backpressure if backpressure is what you want but that shouldn't be what your looking for as backpressure is a means to reduce performance

it's not a lack of backpressure. could be a few other things though. the butt dyno isn't the most calibrated piece of work so it could be inaccurate. could also be an issue with the tuned length of the exhaust

ok guys have seen a test where I guy uses a manometer or however it is spelled tried the K&N vs many other filters of both foam and paper style the K&N did read the highest flow of all the filters while the paper flowed the worst will see if I can bring up the test soon though
