If you already have a router with a built in switch then I would just network the 2 computers and transfer. It does not take a very long time. No sense in spending extra money on an external HD if all you really want to use it for is for transferring data.

Wow, I remember going through that install on my 94 GT AODE. To this day I still have nightmares about installing that passenger side header :(. That thing would just not go in, took me about the same amount of time to complete the install. Just hope you won't have to drop your tranny anytime...

I would definately go ahead and make the swap to 4r70w. I did mine in March for around $1000-$1200, not bad at all considering that $600 went towards a Edge 3000 converter. 02' mustang V6 4r70w.....~$300 (found it at www.car-part.com) Edge street 3000 stall converter...~$600 Misc stuff...

I went through the same thing when i installed my headers. It was impossible to torque them suckers! I just tightened as much as i could and kept checking them every so often making sure they didn't back out. No leaks yet :D .

Another vote for Felpro 1415s. Cheap and can be found at any local parts store (at least around here). Skip the Stage 8 header bolts. I bought them and they are a major PITA to get the washers and c-clips on/off. I ended up just using the bolts after i had to disassemble my engine 3...
