    Immobiliser security system?

I have I have the Immobilizer on my daughters' Ranger and Accord. There's a key fob that allows the car to be started. They used this system on the police cars where I used to work. I thought that it was easy to beat if you didn't have a computerized vehicle (?). Might want to do some...

    Perception --

Whatever you want I had a 67 convertible I kept stock and it was a great car that I really enjoyed. I sold it in order to finish a 67 fastback I'm doing the wway I want to. The FB is not a Shelby, not a GT, so why not make it something special and modern that I want to drive? There are...

    Por 15 on undercarage

Sorta :) I friend of mine just did it and I'm preparing to. You can wire brush it, but it doesn't have to be perfectly clean. In fact if you clean it too much, you have to us a pretreatment. I believe they go into the application on their website. Just Google POR 15

How long do you plan on keeping your Classic?

I completed my candy red 67 convertible to original. My oldest daughter used the car leaving her wedding and I won so many trophies, I donated some of them back. I would never get rid of it. BUT, after 9 years I found a rust free 67 FB and in the process of making it into a restomod, I had...

Anybody ever use the car lifters for the garage ?

If you're talking about a drive up on to lift, I have a Park lift that was very reasonably priced and put everything on it from my 67 Mustangs to my Expedition with no problems. Basically do the math on your height. Look at how high the advertised lift goes, add the full height of the...

    Shaved door handles

If any of you have shaved your door handles, I'd like info on solenoid placement. Photos would be great. I have power windows and before I spend the $ on the kit, I'd like to know where they can be mounted to clear the window mechanism. Thanks in advance!

Installing Mustang II steering on 65 Mustang

I did the swap. Although not having shock towers is very cool and the the car is more structurally sound, and the 67 was rust free and the towers were solid, I wouldn't do it again. I put the 392 Ford Racing crate in it and it mounts the engine a little further forward as well as a little...

    Shaved handles

Have any of you shaved your door handles? I want to shave my 67 handles and just need some advice (and maybe pics) of actuator and pulley locations.

    Coil spring compressor

They're in! Hey, thanks again for the advice. Just put them both in in 20 minutes. I just had to put the spring in the upper seat then used a little muscle to get the bottom of the spring over the lip of the perch. Then I just pulled up very hard on the lower arm until I could get the floor...

    Coil spring compressor

Thanks Thanks for all the input. I'm going to try it w/o the compressor. Either that or take Northern J II's advice! You guys should be flattered that some of us 60's guys and street rodders have decided to go with a superior front suspension! :)

    Coil spring compressor

Thanks Thanks for the info. I'm not sure I can do that though with these new springs. The lower control arm is all the way down and I can barely get the spring in there. Putting the shock in is not possible with the arm all the way down. I may have to try to find an internal compressor...

    Coil spring compressor

Maybe some of you Mustang II owners can help me with a basic question: I have a Mustang II type front suspension under my 67 Fastback and I'm in the process of installing the coil springs. I'm having a little trouble though finding a coil spring compressor to fit properly. Seems that the...
