it's hard finding pics of just a gt with the front bumper. I managed to find a few and think I will try to see if I can get a Roush 3 front bumper. If not, then I'll stick with the factory piece and get a chin spoiler.

Well, the Stang got clipped in a parking garage the other day, bumper is toast. Since it will be going in to the body shop, I was thinking I may make a change. I was htinking of switching to the 03 Cobra bumper or the Roush Stage 3. Does anyone have any thoughts or pics of these bumpers on a GT?

I know the difference, just didn't know about the positioning, height, etc. I looked through the link provided and see it is possible with a little patience and ingenuity. I think the mach 1/shaker combo is about my favorite hood, but to pull it off is a bit pricey, so we'll see.

If you get an actual Mach 1 hood and the Mach 1 Shaker, is it a direct bolt on to an 02 GT or is it a more involved process?

I am getting slop in the steering, when I turn the wheel left or right just a smidge, there is a "loose" feeling before the steering engages. I'm guessing rght now based on searches that the long tubes have wore out the rag joint. I adjusted the steering shaft a while back to get a little more...

With LT's and a mid pipe my car put down 255 rwhp, but that was with the slipping clutch past 3500 rpm. I haven't dynoed and tuned since the new clutch went in, but I imagine there's are a good amount of ponies left between 3500 and 5500 rpm. I wouldn't say exhaust work gives "minimal" gains...

i would like to do the cams myself. if i do, they are a great mod for the money(dork here did horsepower/$ spreadsheet). With the AFM tool can the cams be installed with matched cam gears with the motor in the car?

Yeah, Nick said the stage II's would have to be degreed or I could get the matches cam gears.
