What additive did you add to the tranny? I haven't tried that. How do you add it...through the fill plug or through the shifter?

Crap, I guess I should take the pads out and check those clips aren't hitting the rotor. Too bad this problem didn't surface in the summer! It's gonna suck to work on my brakes when it's 29 degrees out!!! My pads and rotors are aftermarket, too...powerslot rotors and raybestos ceramic pads.

Mine has always taken 6 qts. Anybody else think it's nuts to crawl under a car suspended on two jacks? What do jack stands cost, like $5 each?

Is it the harmonic balancer or the crank pulley? Usually oil leaks with pulleys come from the crank pulley.

I just got a new clutch installed. After talking to a few guys, I got a centerforce dual friction kit. Feels great! Goes into gears easier and pedal engagement is perfect.

I'm getting ready to replace mine, too. Talked to several Mustang owners and a Mustang specialty shop. All recommended Centerforce Dual Friction.

I agree that all the car companies are getting parts from around the world. However, when you buy a Ford you are employing significantly more American workers than when you buy anything else. That's taking into account all the jobs tied to that car...assembly, parts suppliers, dealers, etc...

Thought about the MX-5, but I'd prefer to buy something made here. Even though Ford own's Mazda, the car is still built in Japan I believe.

I got Bilsteins and FRPP C Springs and got an alignment at the same time...after a year, the car would not align correctly. Made my front tires wear the inside tread down to nothing. Bought a set of MM Caster/Camber Plates and that fixed my problem. My new tires are wearing evenly now.
