    Anyone remember "Charlie's Mustangs"?

Impressive collection Bill. I remember seeing the ad in MM&FF summer and fall of 1997. If you have the time, it would be cool if you could scan it and post it. It's a little piece of Bay Area Mustang history. The 5.O mustang scene in northern california can really trace its roots back to...

RECOMMENDED SHOP IN THE BAY AREA??

I think you're right. Don't quote me on this, but they have an in-house dyno at their shop to do tuning in San Jose/Santa Clara and they share a dyno with another shop in their Sacramento branch, but have their own Sac garage. It's best to call to find out the details. I...

    Fresno, CA

Yeah, Fresno is really in no-mans land for the automotive scene unless you're into street racing. If the track in Merced ever gets built, it may help change things for you.

    Need Sacramento tranny shop.

If it's a mild 289, a stock rebuild should last quite a while.

Call Advanced Engine Development at 916-715-7569. You can often see their customer cars running at Sacramento Raceway if you get a chance to go out there. Go to the track and talk to people, see what they run and who worked on their ride.
