you have never been asked to check your muffler bearings? well now you can pull the trick on your friends.... take them for a ride. say you hear something weird..pull off the road and ask them wiggle the exhaust to see if the muffler bearings are bad... and laugh at them when they say they are...

in all seriousness. did you put the distributor back in the correct way? if not the timing may be off, or the plug wires could be in the wrong location.

lol those dumb muffler bearings struck again. they musta shimmied themselves about 1/100th of an inch out of its seat. i can guaruntee thats the problem. that little bit can cause all kinds of damage! take it from me. i have witnessed their destruction.

i was curious if anyone here had this motor in their fox. if you do what kind of power did you get from this motor straight from D.S.S.? is it worth the money? any problems with the motor?

iunfortunately i dont have a compession tester. i just went out to start my car for a moment and sure enough white steam is coming out of the tails... i just need to patch this back together untill the end of summer so i can drop the 331 stroker in that i am going to buy. i just cant afford that...

with my mac equals it was a pita. i was doing the clutch at the same time so the tranny was out, and i installed from the bottom. but i still had to remove the steering shaft to install the driver side. the passenger side just slipped up.
