I barely fit some 315's on my stock 17x8 and I launch at about 3-4k with 4:10's and I haven't had problems yet. Past 4k, I'm loosing traction all over again.

DirtySanchez. . . The diablo chip was custum burned from Dallas Mustang and yes I am running colder plugs that are gapped at .038. Dallas Mustang told me that if I really wanted to, they could burn the chip for the timing but they said with a 100 shot I should be just fine. I was skeptic but...

yeah, I dont get it, we have the same exhaust set up plus I have the T/B and Mass Air on top of that, with a chip! Plus the Cobra is putting out about 15 extra hp over the Mach 1 stock. . . . do you think the 4:10's hurt me that bad??

I finally got my Cobra on a dyno today and I wasnt too happy. I took the nitrous kit off my 65 Mustang and converted it to my Cobra, but the NOS wasn't my problem. The dyno showed 289hp without the juice and 397hp with the juice. I thought i would be putting down more than 289hp with my mods...

There's always some place to get it done, just look for the most beat down ghetto place in town and I can almost guarantee you'll get it passed!! but the MIL's would be the cheapest way to get the light off.

I took mine to a Mustang Performance shop and they told me that if you go with Ford Racing gears, you dont need the the rebuild kit bc they were designed to replace the stock gears. If you go Richmond or something else, you need the rebuild kit bc they are designed to go into anything. I stuck...

Well, I have a 01 Cobra and everyone told me the same thing and I too have had 4:11's before. What I was told was that they are potentially a threat to tearing up your rearend but it just depends on how you drive it. With street tires, your gonna be spinning anyways so there wont be too much...
