Installing new yoke on to my rear end, replacing crush sleeve and seal. Can someone help me out with the procedure to set the "crush"? or torque spec on the pinion nut. thanks

well, i just got done checking it, and found all good, but one set to be under spec. not yet sure how do deal with it. thinking i should just load up the short block and take to the machine shop and then then can shave down one of the rods a bit.

does anyone know the spec for rod bearing side clearance (clearance between two rods on same crankpin)?

Looking at a 1994 V6 mustang, not really sure what they are worth now days. generally clean car, has minor hail damage on roof, aftermarket fiberglass hood, and factory spoiler on rear, so hail mostly on roof. 144,000 miles, manual trans. Otherwise just plain white paint with cloth interior...

68rustang, do you have any problems with that 170 epoxy primer. when i spray it I seem to get a textured finish. I have tried different pressure and different guns, even tried thining it out with thinner. I have had best luck with and old syphon (sp) gun.

well, thanks all i got it fixed. powered the motor first. I don't understand why ford would have switched methods to powering up the switch first. controling the ground works a lot better, running less amps through the switch.

before installing the blower motor I did check it for operation and it does work good. I cannot find a wiring diagram in the books I have. are u saying that the brown wire at the blower motor is hot, then the yellow is the ground and goes to the bottom of the resistor block. then has to go...

I am working on a 65 mustang and cannot get the blower motor working. I have 3 wires at the back of the fan switch that go to the resistor block. then there is a single wire at the resistor block that I don't know where it goes to, but it does not have power. i checked the fuse, and it is good.

I am tring to assemble the window and track into a 65 mustang fastback. problem is all the parts came in a box, and i i have never taken one apart. so anything that anyone can tell me to help would help me alot.

air gap would not fit under the hood on my 68 coupe with a 351 W. I ended up using the regular RPM manifold
