    yeah, but I've got a lot of time and money tied up in this engine and I don't want to have it in the back of my mind that I could have done a better job of assembly. Maybe when I was younger I would have let it go as close enough but not now.

    I'ved solved my pushrod problem. Went to mustangs plus and purchased some ford racing roller rockers took them home and matched them up to the crane energizer rocker and there was a difference of about 3/32" in length from the pivot point to the roller tip, the ford rocker being longer...

    I do understand how to determine pushrod length thats not my problem, my gripe is that it looks to me that I would need a pushrod by at least .250 longer than stock to get where I want to be, that seems like a lot. What about those who bolted these on without checking? I called cranes tech...

    I installed windsor jr heads on my 68 302, checked pushrod length and the wear pattern says they are too short (off center towards intake side) again! Checked stock length first, too short, then tried another set at 6.905 length and still to short. Next step is a length checking pushrod. Anyone...

    I want to drill out the steam holes to install windsor jr heads on my 68 302 , can anyone show me a diagram or pic to make sure I don't screw this up? The web site says to use the head gasket as a template and drill three holes on each side near the top head bolt hole??
