Time To Get Rid Of My 35th...need Pricing Help

It's been forever since I've posted on here due to life moving so fast for me...alas, I find it necessary to get rid of my 35th Anniversary GT. I haven't driven it in about a year and a half due to an electrical issue, and looks like some oil is leaking from her too (engine and possibly rear...

    Kenne Bell BAP Install Question

When you run the electical wire to the front of the car, where is it supposed to connect to? I've been having an issue where there is draw on my battery when the car is turned off, and if I don't keep it on a battery charger when I'm not driving it, it dies in just 2-3 days. I believe that the...

Been out of the game for a while, looking at a set of twins (turbos, that is)

Thanks for the info thus far! So the Hellion kit comes with twin 66's I believe...is it worth it to get the ball bearing upgrade or is that just throwing money away? Anyone have experience installing the kit w/o a UPR / MM K member (i.e. is it realistic to install it w/o swapping the K member...

Been out of the game for a while, looking at a set of twins (turbos, that is)

Not really any speed bumps around here to worry about, just potholes - I love the roads in Cleveland :D Any experience with HP or Hellion as far as who makes a better / more complete kit? I'm just trying to cover all of my bases before I dump money on something only to end up pissed off or...

Been out of the game for a while, looking at a set of twins (turbos, that is)

I haven't been on here in forever, but like some others I've got the 'Mustang bug' again. Looking for an efficient turbo setup that I could make around 600 RWHP or so on; I have the fuel/block/heads/etc to handle it. Looking to trade up from a Procharger P-1SC that's getting me close to 500...

Battery Drain - How to I trace?

I had the same problem; thought it was the BAP, mis-wiring, etc - ended up that something in my stock head unit shorted out, so I just pulled the fuse. Not saying that the radio is the culprit in your case, but it was a real pain in the rear end. As mentioned above, pulling fuses is what...

    ProCharger P-1SC Rebuild

I agree, that's kinda ridiculious - go through the trouble of upgrading all the other internals, but they don't swap out the bearings - I can guarantee they aren't worth $400 either. I'm checking around for a head unit...or might just get a whole new one for that kind of money.

    ProCharger P-1SC Rebuild

I wouldn't bother going to a P-1SC-II - I did find out that the rebuild does not include bearings, that's an additional $300-$400 on top of the $1100 for a D-1SC upgrade.

    ProCharger P-1SC Rebuild

Well, the bearings in my P-1SC have pretty much had it, now all they make is a grinding noise. Does anyone have the part list to rebuild a P-1SC (seals/bearings)? Otherwise I'm looking $1100 or so to get this modified into a D-1SC.

    Belt Tensioner

I just called a Ford dealership; they don't carry that model tensioner anymore - in fact, it's an obsolete part and no dealer can get it. I guess my next option is to go check with Reichard Racing or see if Thump Racing will machine down the mounting bracket for me.

    Belt Tensioner

I just need something that works, these belts are like $82 and I already tore up the one. I'm going to try that steel tensioner on Monday...

    Belt Tensioner

The product is definitely high quality, I've been waiting to send it back till I can see if a steel tensioner will fix the problem (difference between sending it back and having them machine down the mounting bracket vs. returning it for the steel tensioner). The tensioner I have from them is...

    Belt Tensioner

Already have an 8 rib setup and still have slip past 6K RPM and busted the spring in my 2nd tensioner.

    Belt Tensioner

Do you know if the spring inside the steel tensioner is any stronger than that in the aluminum one?

    Alright, thanks for checking!

    Belt Tensioner

That's the one I have actually - the mounting bracket is too thick. Everything else fits fine. I'm going to call the guys at Thump Racing and see if they can do anything for me before I drop money on something else. If nothing else, I would hope they'd at least accept it as a return. Skud...
